About Ross
I’m a father, husband, and dedicated environmentalist. I’m running for Council to ensure a safer, greener, more affordable Berkeley.
I’ve spent the past fifteen years leading environmental efforts in both non-profit and for-profit organizations: I've worked on the ground restoring habitats in Haiti, I led teams monitoring urban tree canopy, and most recently, I secured a deal that protected 400,000 acres of forest on the East Coast. I’ve also served on the Sierra Club Executive Committee (Northern Alameda County Group), helping to support local environmental policies. Now, I’m running for City Council to help continue Berkeley’s progress.
As Councilmember, I will:
Champion smoother, safer streets
Fight for more housing to bring down the cost of living
Advocate for real solutions to homelessness
Support our first responders
Enhance our parks and public spaces
Promote responsible fiscal stewardship of our city's limited budget
